Four drones span the album, stretching out like a desert’s infinite horizon, as if seen through a mirage, like ghostly silhouettes in the sand.
The artists based in Belfast and Cardiff started the project after having mutual admiration for each other’s work. The project has been achieved entirely through remote collaboration. Despite their production processes being significantly different and having never met, similar themes materialised instinctively - desolate deserts and ghosts in the sand. These themes led to the track title ‘No End To The Desert’, taken from a line in the song ‘Farewell Transmission’ from Songs: Ohia, subsequently creating the source of inspiration for the album’s title.
